Buitenkunst 2014. Texts by Strindberg, sculpture by me.
Lucebert being the Dutch poet who wrote ‘er zanikt bagger aan mijn laarzen’ (mud is nagging / sucking at my wellies)
My take on the ‘visual poetics’ workshop at Buitenkunst 2014 by Marthe van de Grift. While it is about rithm & rime, the association is also with Lucebert’s line ‘Er zanikt bagger aan mijn laarzen’ (~ mud is sucking/nagging at my boots).
My take on the “Naughty Boxes” workshop by Yette Rhode on Buitenkunst 2014.
The box is supposed to reflect the Facebook banner format. It is part of my “I don’t know what it is that I don’t understand about love” project.
Note that the part with the two ‘eyes’ in reality is a slider that moves along the full breadth of the box.
buitenkunst, i don't know what it is that i don't understand about love and tagged billboards, city, consumerism, girls, love, Murakami, private, public, secrecy, staring, streets on .
